New Dish Served at Hotel The Taksonz

  • Sea Food and Chicken La Paella

    Ingredients (serves four)
    320g Bomba rice
    650ml Shrimp stock (or seafood/fish/chicken Stock)
    30g chorizo
    200g raw shrimp
    60g calamari
    50ml Virgin Olive Oil
    1 fillet of chicken
    75g white onions
    50g red bell pepper
    50g green bell pepper
    50g frozen peas
    4 padron peppers
    75g tomato sauce
    4g curry powder
    4g Sweet Pepper Powder
    1 g turmeric powder
    2g saffron pistil
    20g of lemon juice
    4 lemon wedges

How to make Sea Food and Chicken La Paella?
Cut bell peppers and white onions.
Chop chorizo into small dice, 5mm in diameter, and thin slices
Keep the head of the raw shrimp intact.
Cut the chicken and calamari into squares measuring 3cm.
In a pan, heat the olive oil and fry bell peppers, onions, and a few dices of Chorizo.
After everything has been cooked, stir in the rice and let it cool down.
Mix all spices and powders in a bowl. Add shrimp stock and simmer until the shrimp is tender.
After 10 minutes of simmering, add the frozen peas
Mix the tomato sauce into the paella and stir it occasionally.
Separately pan-fry the shrimps, chicken, shrimps and chorizo slices.
Serve the paella with the pan-fired ingredients, lemon zest and lemon wedges.
